Hello!
I am midwife S. Ember Miller-Adair LM, CPM. I am a homeschool mother of 5 children from elementary age through adulthood. Two natural births in the hospital, and three homebirths. I am also a grand-mama times two, both whom I have had the honor of delivering in July of 2022 and September of 2024! There are no words to describe helping your first born give birth to her first born. Magical on every level.
My call into birth work was evident in early childhood. I began as a doula, serving in an educational and supportive role for families as they navigated all the options and challenges that can present in pregnancy, labor, and the recovery period. I knew I would begin my journey into midwifery once the growth of our family was complete. It was a long and beautiful endeavor and surreal to be serving in this capacity after over 15 years of feeling the call into midwifery. I am an educator by nature and love empowering families as they grow and supporting their right to an informed choice.
In my private time my family loves time together, board games, Round Rock baseball, BBQ’s, and time on the water. I’m an avid reader and lifetime student of all things holistic. I am deep in the heart of herbal medicine school with plans to open a local Apothecary in the coming year.
