You are paying the non-refundable retainer fee to establish midwifery care. The retainer fee will be credited towards the overall balance for midwifery services - it is not an additional fee. Once this fee is paid I will get your new client chart established, issue your digital contract through your online client portal (nothing to print or mail), and get you confirmed for your initial prenatal visit. This process typically takes 3-5 business days, depending on our birth schedule. Our office is closed Friday - Sunday. 😉
